Not every important story begins with a rescue.
Sometimes it begins with a visit.
Long-time supporters came to the Great House to meet the animals and see the daily life that continues after the emergency is over. They met the dogs, saw Gollum working through his recovery, and stepped into a world usually seen only through videos.
Then we met Amparo.
When Frodo came into the conversation, the visit changed. We spoke about his life here, what he meant to us, and the pain of losing him. Amparo became emotional. I hugged her. In that moment, the Great House revealed its deepest purpose.
Let’s Adopt is not only about rescuing animals. It is about everything that comes after: care, treatment, memory, safety, and love.
The Great House is where fragile animals recover, grow old, rest, and become part of a family.
